The Morocco Desert Challenge has become widely recognized as the ideal preparation for teams aiming to compete in the Dakar Rally or the World Rally-Raid championship. It offers competitors the opportunity to race in comparable professional conditions, with challenging terrain, long stages and navigation that meets the highest international standards.
Navigation will once again rely on ERTF digital roadbooks, fully compliant with FIA standards and fully written by none other than Sébastien Delaunay, one of rally raid’s most respected professional co-drivers.
With more than 200 rallies and 16 Dakar participations to his name, Sébastien Delaunay is one of rally-raid’s most experienced professional co-drivers. He has competed at the highest international level for many years and achieved several category podiums in the Dakar. In 2026, he contested the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship alongside Dania Akeel in a Taurus T3 Max. He has also prepared roadbooks for more than 15 international rallies and served as sporting director for several events in Morocco.
